We use certain 3rd Party Data Processors. 3rd party Data Processors used by Teach My Kids are:

These 3rd party data processors are EU-US and Swiss-US Privacy Shield Compliant. Stripe Payments Europe Ltd is located in Ireland and transfers personal data to Stripe Inc in the USA.
4. Newsletters and Mailchimp
By subscribing to and joining our newsletter mailing list with your e-mail address, you agree to receive newsletters, offers and promotions from Teach My Kids through Mailchimp (a 3rd party data processor). We shall contact you via Mailchimp a maximum of 6 times per year. Your email address will remain on the Mailchimp database as long as we use Mailchimp services, or until you specifically ask us to remove you from the list. If you wish to opt out of this service, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the e-mail. Children under the age of 16 must get permission from a parent or guardian before joining the newsletter mailing list.

You may give us personal information such as your name, your child/children's name/s and email address by filling in forms or by corresponding with us by email. This includes personal data you provide when you subscribe to an account.
We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you in order to:
- contact you about queries made via email or by filling in our contact form
- to set up and create an account for you when you subscribe to one of our packages. You may provide your child/children's name/s to set up an account.
The minimum information that we need from you so that you can subscribe to our service is an email address and your name. This information is required in order for us to set up your account, answer queries, send you account information, payment information/receipts and renewal reminders. When purchasing a subscription, we will need to know the year group you wish to purchase, this may be related to the age of your child/children. It is important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during our relationship with you.
We will ask for your child/children's names to allow you to make the best use of our service, however the name you provide is at your discretion.
When Will We Share Your Data?
We shall only share your personal data with third parties for the following reasons:
- To set up your account when subscribing to a Teach My Kids package. Personal information will be shared with Stripe Inc in order to validate your credit card, set up your subscription and take payments. Zapier will use your name and email address to link you to Mailchimp. This will allow us to send you information regarding your account on set up and how to make the best use of Teach My Kids subscriptions. You are free to unsubscribe from the Mailchimp list by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the e-mail.
We reserve the right to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal requirements, enforce our terms and conditions, or any other agreement we enter into with you, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our business and other customers. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
How We Protect and Store Your Data
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, stolen or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to personal data to those employees, agents and other third parties who have a business need to know. Current data is stored in an identifiable manner on our database. We are aiming to change the the storage of data in a pseudonymised way in the near future.
7. Payment Information
Teach My Kids collects and processes payment information, including credit/debit card details and billing information when you subscribe to a package, using Stripe Inc (a third party data processor).
If you give your credit/debit card information, it will be used to solely check for financial qualification and to collect payment from you. Stripe Inc will manage credit/debit card processing.This service provider is not permitted to store, retain or use the information you provide except for the sole purpose of credit/debit card processing on our behalf.
When payment information is collected and transmitted to Stripe Inc, it is protected through the use encryption. Teach My Kids website is protected by the secure socket layer (SSL).
8. Retention of Personal Data
We shall keep your data for the period of time you hold an account with us to enable us to contact you, keep a record of past subscriptions, supply and take payment for any new/renewed subscriptions. We shall not keep your personal information for longer than necessary to fulfill our obligations to you, or to meet our legitimate business interests or legal requirements.
9. Log Files
Subscriber information is logged when a worksheet is downloaded by a subscriber to Teach My Kids. Subscriber information logged includes: subscriber name, email address, worksheet downloaded, IP address, time and date. This information is logged and used to maintain the quality of service provided by Teach My Kids and to ensure our fair usage terms are being adhered to.
10. Customer Testimonials
Customer testimonials and comments posted on Teach My Kids website may contain personal information such as names, year group/age of children, children's names given to us on a voluntary basis. We will obtain customers consent via email prior to posting a testimonial or comment.
11. Social Media
Teach My Kids website includes Social Media links such as links to our Facebook page. These features may collect your IP Address and set cookies. Your interaction with these features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies providing the service.
